We were thrilled to be named as one of Canada's best shortbreads by Canadian Living magazine in their January 2013 issue. This lead to a little more "notoriety" on CBC television and in 2 local newspapers as well.
Last summer we enjoyed meeting Lorraine Elliott, of "Not Quite Nigella" fame as she toured Pictou's local fooderies and producers with our good friend Alain Bossé, The Kilted Chef. They arrived just as I was taking oatcakes out of the oven, so it was perfect timing! After some good fun and good munching, it was time for cooking' on the farm with Chef Al!
